Ms Eleri Lewis

Eleri Lewis is a psychotherapist, consultant counselling supervisor, and EMDR practitioner with over 20 years of experience specialising in trauma and counselling services for both adults and children. Eleri is highly qualified in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), having completed advanced training in all levels of EMDR, including treating children and adolescents.

She obtained her EMDR qualification from Worcester University and holds multiple advanced degrees related to her field. Her qualifications include a Master’s in Counselling Children and Young People, a Master’s in Developmental and Therapeutic Play, a Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Consultative Counselling Supervision. Eleri has also pursued additional training in Babette Rothschild’s 14-day trauma training, Internal Family Systems Training, and Deep Brain Reorientation (DBR) Training for Attachment.

Eleri's primary focus is on specialist trauma treatment using EMDR. Her expertise extends to areas such as medical trauma, stress management, attachment issues, sexual abuse, the impact of coercion and control, and traumatic amnesia, including recovered memories of childhood sexual abuse and ritualistic abuse.
