Dr Edward Banham-Hall

Dr Edward Banham-Hall is a highly accomplished Consultant Physician specialising in General (Internal) Medicine and Acute Medicine. With a strong clinical focus on diagnosing and managing complex, acute medical conditions, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive and reassuring care to his patients. His clinical practice is deeply integrated with cutting-edge medical research, allowing him to bring the latest scientific advancements directly to patient care.

In addition to his clinical duties, Dr Banham-Hall is a prominent researcher and serves as a Principal Investigator for several early-phase clinical trials. He played a pivotal role in the discovery of Activated PI3kinase Delta Syndrome (APDS), a novel cause of Primary Immunodeficiency. Dr Banham-Hall completed his medical training at the Royal Free and University College London Medical School, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB BS) in 2004. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pharmacology from University College London and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology from the University of Cambridge.
