Dr Dunecan Massey is a Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients experiencing complex digestive conditions. With extensive expertise in general gastroenterology, Dr Massey focuses on delivering clear, patient-centred medical care tailored to individual needs. His clinical practice encompasses a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions, with a dedicated approach to ensuring every patient receives thoughtful, evidence-based management.

Within the field of Gastroenterology, Dr Massey possesses specialist expertise in intestinal failure and advanced transplant medicine, including small bowel and multivisceral transplantation. He is an accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist skilled in optical diagnosis and diagnostic endoscopy. Dr Massey also maintains a significant clinical focus on inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, as well as the specialised management of complex nutritional support and home parenteral nutrition.

Dr Massey completed his medical qualification in Cambridge, earning a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBChir) along with a Bachelor of Arts in Physiology. He subsequently undertook advanced scientific research to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), which investigated the mechanisms of cellular autophagy in Crohn's disease. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).
