Mr Duncan Drury

Mr Duncan Drury is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and Consultant General Surgeon who specialises in minimally invasive venous and endovascular procedures. He possesses extensive expertise in the treatment of varicose veins and thread veins, delivering patient-focused care designed to restore venous health and alleviate discomfort. Combining core general surgical expertise with modern keyhole techniques, he performs advanced procedures such as endovenous laser ablation and ultrasound-guided interventions that allow for rapid recovery and excellent clinical outcomes.

Mr Drury obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science with First Class Honours in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the University of Sheffield in 1997, subsequently earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) in 2000. He further deepened his academic grounding by completing a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree at the University of Sheffield in 2008. His higher surgical training encompassed specialist fellowships focused on advanced endovascular techniques, peripheral arterial disease, and complex venous management. Professionally, he became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2002 and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
