Just excellent - it can be quite frightening finding out your heart doesn't work properly but Dr. Ahsan took away the fear and explained very clearly how the problem could be fixed and then he fixed it.

I first met Dr Ahsan in April 2025 having had some very upsetting and troubling irregular heart rhythm episodes. I subsequently went through all the necessary tests and paroxysmal atrial fibrillation was diagnosed. Throughout the whole process Dr Ahsan was a fantastic, empathetic communicator providing me with clear and concise treatment options. After managing the condition with medication for 12 months and continually communicating with Dr Ahsan I underwent the pulsed field ablation proceedure in April 2026. I was extremely anxious on the day of the surgery and Dr Ahsan was incredibly patient and supportive before and after the surgery. -As was the anaesthetist Dr James O Brien. As well as being such a kind and supportive human being who clearly cares deeply about his patients it is obvious that Dr Ahsan is a highly skilled technical expert in his fields of surgery. I have also only positive things to say about the whole team at the Cromwell hospital of wonderful nurses and staff. For me this was a fairly traumatic event which Dr Ahsan ensured went very smoothly and so far with a good outcome. I cannot thank him enough.

Dr Ahsan is a great doctor, really clear and precise, you feel entirely safe in his hands. A very human approach to his patients as well.

I went to see Dr Ahsan with concerns over family history of heart issues. He is an extremely thorough, kind and professional Consultant. His manner is very reassuring and takes time to listen and understand concerns that you have.

At our first meeting Dr Ahsan impressed me with his whole approach. His manner was welcoming and understanding. His technical/medical information was presented in a very straightforward and easy to understand manner. At the end I had no hesitation in asking him to undertake the procedure I needed. On the day of the procedure, once again, his manner and approach was reassuring throughout and his continuing advice and support has been outstanding.

Dr Ahsan has been wonderful. He listens, explains, is knowledgeable, easy to talk to and has a lovely yet professional manner. I felt I was in a very safe pair of hands and completely confident under is care. I feel I can highly recommend him.
