He is amazing. He listens, takes the time to explain everything in detail is understanding and caring. He never rushes you and takes the time to put you at ease if you feel anxious. I would highly recommend him.

My husband and I (who are both health care professionals) saw (on 21/11/23) Dr Syed Ahsan after I had an Echogram and was referred by Natalie’s ( the cardiac physiologist ). at the Cavell Hospital. I had shortness of breath and had pericardial effusion. Dr Ahsan reviewed the images of my CT scan and the Echocardiogram and admitted me to the Cromwell Hospital. That very night the fluid around my heart was drained ( by Dr Ahsan and his Team ) and I immediately had relief and began treatment for my Lower Respiratory Tract infection ( Community acquired Pneumonia) I spent 7 nights at the Cromwell and each evening Dr Ahsan would visit and updated me on my progress. From the beginning everything was explained. Thankfully I have now made a complete recovery. Dr Ahsan is now our preferred Cardiologist and we will recommend him to our friends and colleagues for his knowledge,care and commitment to patient care.

Dr Ahsan was fantastic, always friendly and answered all of my many questions. He was reassuring at all times.

Dr Ahsan comes across as a very experienced doctor who will not discharge is patients until he is fully comfortable. His calm and professional demeanour is very reassuring.
