Dr Susan Cleator

Dr. Susan Cleator is a Consultant Oncologist specializing exclusively in Breast Cancer, with extensive experience in both drug therapies and radiotherapy. She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at Oxford and several institutions across West London, including the renowned Royal Marsden Hospital. Her PhD at The Institute of Cancer Research/Royal Marsden focused on the application of genomic profiling to predict responses to pre-surgical (neoadjuvant) chemotherapy. This research has established her as an expert in these fields and positioned her as a leader in adopting cutting-edge genomic profiling tests and targeted genomic therapies.

At her NHS position at Imperial, Dr. Cleator leads and co-leads clinical trials exploring both early-stage and metastatic breast cancer, concentrating on drug treatments, radiation therapies, and molecular testing. She oversees several National Trials and has contributed extensively to academic publications. In addition, she serves as the Radiotherapy Lead on an academically funded UK-based breast radiotherapy trial. Dr. Cleator is also a frequent speaker at both local and national medical conferences.
