Dr Susan Anthony

Dr Susan Anthony is a highly accomplished Consultant Radiologist who specialises in Interventional Radiology and Clinical Radiology. With a focus on minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, she is dedicated to providing patients with precise diagnostics and advanced targeted treatments. Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventions, helping patients achieve optimal outcomes with reduced recovery times.

Throughout her career, Dr Anthony has developed significant expertise in non-invasive vascular imaging, cardiac imaging, and complex interventional procedures. She is particularly renowned for her work in treating venous conditions, including endovenous laser treatment and ultrasound-guided foam sclerotherapy for varicose veins. Additionally, her clinical interests extend to advanced embolisation techniques, such as uterine artery embolisation for fibroids, pelvic vein embolisation, and prostate artery embolisation, as well as aortic stent grafting.

Dr Anthony qualified in medicine in 1992 from a prestigious medical school in London. She went on to complete her postgraduate medical training, obtaining membership of the Royal College of Physicians, before undertaking specialist training in Radiology at a leading teaching hospital in London. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and holds active memberships with the Royal College of Physicians and the Medical Protection Society. Alongside her clinical work, she has contributed to medical education as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, teaching anatomy and radiology to undergraduate and graduate medical students.
