During my recent appointment with Dr Eriksson I explained my ongoing seizures and my concerns about my condition. I was advised to eat properly and maintain a regular sleep routine. I followed this advice by eating as much as I could and improving my sleeping pattern but unfortunately my symptoms have not improved. After the appointment, I started vomiting on 22 and 23 July and then I had another seizure on 24 July. Although the vomiting has now stopped I have diarrhoea and I am still struggling to eat properly. I left the appointment feeling that I had not been given any new guidance or a clear plan and overall I do not feel that the consultation has helped improve my condition.
Dr. Eriksson was 100% excellent. Totally aware of my clinical history and her advice was so good and helpful, giving me a positive outlook and way forward with my condition. Lovely to deal with and so friendly - with a "twinkle on her eye!" A very good human being to deal with unlike many consultants
In the 8 years I've needed to see a specialist, Dr Eriksson is the first one actually to care about me. Not her ego, nor how much money she would earn from me, nor her standard god-like demeanour that Drs usually have. Sad it's taken this long to find her, but extremely grateful to have her. Dr Eriksson is an example of how specialists should work together for the benefit of the individual under their care. From the very first moment, she understood my goals, both personally and professionally. This is something sincerely lacking from previous specialists across the UK. She is happy to stand up and find a way to bring about much-needed change in my life. This is the world of commercial aviation, governed by regulations and individuals who prefer to maintain the status quo, making a professional pilot the problem, rather than real industry benefiting change. Dr Eriksson should be the example for others to aspire to, especially those who believe their title and ego matter more than their patient. She is an asset to the Cleveland Clinic for kindness, support and open-mindedness. I hope she is always supported.
This was my initial consultation with Dr Eriksson. My health journey has been quite long and emotionally draining, so it was important to me that I felt heard, understood and supported in this consultation and Dr Eriksson ticked all the boxes. I left feeling positive and clear about the next steps . The staff and reception were super friendly and welcoming too. Highly recommend .
Dr Eriksson is an incredibly knowledgeable, experienced and professional expert. We have had many consultants over the years for my son, Jay’s, epilepsy but this appointment was very unique. We experienced a new approach to listening, understanding, thinking and recommending extremely pinpointed solutions to very complex neurological issues. We really appreciated all of this and have no hesitation in recommending Dr Eriksson, thank you.
Dr Eriksson was very knowledgeable and professional but could not wave the magic wand nor could she ‘tell’ me what I should do. I was left feeling as though I had the decisions to make, once she sent all the information through.
Dr Eriksson was incredibly patient and professional throughout my appointment. She took the time to listen carefully, addressed all my concerns in detail, and explained everything clearly. I never felt rushed, and I left feeling well-informed and reassured. Highly recommended.
