Dr Simon Hodes

Please see previous notes. Simon was very generous with his time and provided helpful information and insights. He was consultative in his approach which was appreciated. He has a very warm and friendly manner. It was also great to see how he was supporting a new member of the team.

Please see why I wrote in my first lengthy statement. He is an exceptional doctor, exceptionally kind and empathetic and first rate clinician. He was very thorough and a careful listener as I was a new patient and had some medical history to tell him. He a first rate communicator and put me at my ease straight away. He even thanked ME for seeing him for my executive medical - I corrected him and said it was for me to thank him ! He really is a great asset to your Organisation and clearly really enjoys working in such a first rate medical centre.

Dr Hodes is a wonderful healthcare professional. His demeanour/"bedside manner" is excellent. And I have continuously found him to be a knowledgeable, kind, and supportive voice during my visits. Medical doctors can be (unduly) arrogant. However, Dr Hodes has never left me with a sense of inadequacy when he imparts information about an unfamiliar health topic. Moreover, I never feel rushed during our meetings, always leaving with a sense of fulfilling discussion. In sum, it is my view that Dr Hodes provides excellent care. And I will continue to see him for GP services.

Simon was highly relatable, evidently genuinely interested and engaged, took the time and had the interest to explore and gain an understanding of my broader background and professional history that informed my current health. I got a reassuring sense that Simon was being sensible and pragmatic in his application of a great wealth of experience in support of my interests. His communication both during the face-to-face appointment, by email and latterly in the phone consultation to take me through the test results was excellent. Thank you.
