Dr Simon Hodes

Dr Simon Hodes is a family physician who qualified in 1996, completed his GP training in 2000, and worked as a GP Partner in the same NHS GP Practice in Watford from 2001-2022, with named patient lists, where he was fortunate to look after generations of many families. For many years he also worked a half day each week as a Hospital Practitioner in A&E, and still works urgent care sessions and GP locums in the NHS.
Simon joined the Cleveland Clinic London from its opening in September 2021 providing GP, Health Screening and Concierge Medical Services.
Simon is passionate about traditional, patient-centered care and firmly believes in the importance of continuity of care. He enjoys mentoring medical students, junior doctors, trainee GPs and other clinical staff. In addition to his work as a doctor, he also serves as a GP appraiser and has published several articles, blogs and opinion pieces on topics related to primary care medicine.
Simon has special interests in Diabetes, Men's Health, Cardio-vascular problems, Skin/Dermatology, Preventative Medicine and Health Screening, but enjoys seeing the full range and variety of presentations seen daily in general practice.
Outside of work Simon enjoys spending time with his family and being outide and active: he is a keen cyclist, runner, swimmer, BBQer and gardener.
