About Dr Shahir Hamdulay
Dr Shahir Hamdulay is an experienced Consultant Rheumatologist and General Physician based in London. He studied at the Royal Free Hospital and received his medical degree in 1999. He then went on to complete his postgraduate training in Hammersmith (Imperial College) and University College London Hospitals and underwent specialist training in Rheumatology. During his training, Dr Hamdulay was awarded a clinical research fellowship by the British Heart Foundation to research into the vascular effects of drug therapy in both inflammatory diseases, vasculitis and connective tissue diseases such as SLE. Dr Hamdulay was awarded a PhD by Imperial College London for his clinical research work and won many prizes from the British Society of Rheumatology and the Royal Society of Medicine.
Dr Hamdulay has been a Consultant in General Internal Medicine and Rheumatology for more than 15 years and has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and general medical problems, and all aspects of clinical Rheumatology. His NHS practise was previously at Northwick Park Hospital and currently is a Consultant in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine at the Royal Free Hospital. He sees patients privately in the following locations:
