Qualifications

Dr Sanjay Kumar obtained his medical degree with honours from St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School, University of London, in 1996, and membership of the Royal College of Physicians (London) in 1999.

He undertook original scientific research on myocardial stunning contributing to the award of his PhD degree. He has worked as a Consultant Cardiologist since 2010 at Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, Kings College Hospital NHS Trust, and BMI Shirley Oaks Hospital.

His professional memberships include the General Medical Council, the British Cardiovascular Society, the European Society of Cardiology, and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions.
