Dr Roger Wolman

Dr Roger Wolman, Consultant in Rheumatologist and Sports Medicine Expert, currently works at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust and sees patients privately in several practices in the central and north-west London areas. He is highly experienced in aspects of rheumatology, sport & exercise medicine, and rehabilitation medicine.

Dr Wolman began his medical education at the University of Manchester, before completing his general medical training in London. He then undertook specialist medical training in rheumatology, rehabilitation medicine and sport and exercise medicine in units across London. During his training period, he undertook a research degree and after 3 years was awarded Medical Doctorate for his work on Exercise and Osteoporosis. He was also later awarded the prestigious Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship, in which he studied sport and exercise medicine in North America. He was appointed to his first consultant role in 1994 at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and additionally was appointed to the first position of Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine in the UK.
