Dr Raj Khiani is a general cardiologist who has expertise in all common cardiac symptoms including palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath, and blackout. Dr Khiani was I felt was excellent in my consultation at the Saxon clinic and arranged for me to have several diagnostic tests at different hospitals. This was carried out with great speed and he explained what to expect with each test. I did actually have another cardiologist attend the MRI scan who is another member of the team and although he did introduce himself I cannot recall his name.

My husband and I visited Dr Khiani, extremely worried and afraid for my husband's future, having had a blood clot in the leg which, it transpired, came from my husbands heart. Dr Khiani immediately carried out tests, prescribed medications and referred us further to another professional for potential surgery. Every step of our care was explained, no question was left unanswered. Not only did his prompt action probably save my husbands life, but his professionalism, care and empathy throughout helped carry us through a very scary time in our lives. He is dedicated, kind, patient and a consummate, skilled professional.

Dr Khiani is an exceptionally thoughtful cardiologist, and it has been a great pleasure working with him. He provides holistic care for his patients, considering all aspects of their treatment. He has particular expertise in cardiac device implantation (pacemakers and defibrillators).
