Dr Nihal Shah

Dr Nihal Shah is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist currently working at the private practises with HCA Healthcare, Additionally, he holds an NHS post at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust hospitals, along with being appointed the Assistant Clinical Director to the Cancer Centre. His special interest is breast cancer and he is also interested in the management of lung cancer, head and neck cancers. He offers a holistic approach and a variety of treatments including chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

Dr Shah completed his Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery studies at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School. In 1994 he completed a Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons and in 1997 he completed a Fellowship of The Royal College of Radiologists. He attained a Doctor of Medicine in London in 2001.

Dr Shah has a membership with the Radiosurgery Society. He is active in clinical trials; he advises pharmaceutical companies on cancer strategies and investigates multiple local studies. He is an advisor to the Health Care Commission utilising his expert knowledge.
