Dr Navin Ramachandran

Dr Navin Ramachandran is a highly accomplished Consultant Radiologist who specialises in uroradiology, interventional radiology, and acute imaging. Utilising advanced cross-sectional imaging techniques, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), and diagnostic ultrasound, he delivers meticulous diagnostic assessments to support accurate clinical decision-making. His patient-focused approach ensures that individuals undergoing diagnostic imaging or image-guided procedures feel well-informed and reassured throughout their care journey.

In his clinical practice, Dr Ramachandran focuses on urological imaging, interventional oncology, and male reproductive health. He routinely conducts multiparametric prostate MRI evaluations, targeted prostate biopsy guidance, and complex imaging for renal and urological malignancies. His expertise extends to minimally invasive interventional radiology procedures, such as renal tumour ablation, varicocele embolisation, nephrostomy insertion, and image-guided drain placements, offering patients effective treatment options with reduced recovery times.

Dr Ramachandran completed his primary medical training at Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School, earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a First Class Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Neurosciences in 2000. He attained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2003 and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2007. Following subspecialist fellowship training in both interventional radiology and uroradiology, he remains dedicated to clinical education, digital health research, and active membership in leading professional medical organisations.
