I had an extremely bad experience. The reception staff were excellent. However the actual scan experience was atrocious. There was no pre scan checklist, my valuables were left in a tray in an open room, I don’t remember what was done with my handbag as I was rushed into the scan. I had no opportunity to ask questions. During the scan I panicked and had to ask several times for a break as I was worried I would have a panic attack. I have had previous MRI scans in other places where it felt organised. This was a shambles. I have experienced extreme anxiety post scan due to experiencing distressing ear symptoms and as there was no check list have concerns something was missed. The staff are very friendly however I am now left with more concerns regarding my health.

It was a Saturday , and the ground floor reception was not staffed . No-one told me what to do on arrival . I tried calling both phone numbers on the email, no answer they didn't even ring . I went back to the door to see where to find Marris in the building and eventually figured out that I SHOULD TAKE THE LIFT TO TH BASEMENT . The receptionist in the basement was nice . The guy who did my MRI's did not offer me a gown. I was told just to take my bra off . I also took my small vest off as it had metal strap adapters . He did check if my hormone patch had foil on it . No slippers or socks offered . My Dr had requested a marker . I asked him about this twice . I believe he did not use the requested marker . The floor of the room was dirty, and I felt a bit itchy . Usually these rooms are super clean, but somehow it didn't feel as clean . The MRI itself was fine . I JUST GOT A BIT ITCHY .

This is the second time I have had an MRI at the Marris Clinic in Harley street. Exceptional service from the reception to the radiologists who are charming & helpful. I received my detailed report within 24 hours. I would throughly recommend this Clinic. Sandi C
