About Dr Michael Reynolds
Dr Michael Reynolds qualified in 1996 and since 2008 Dr Reynolds has been a consultant physician and gastroenterologist at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital. He trained at University College London and did specialist training at the Royal London and Royal Free Hospitals. He spent three years at the Wingate Institute of Neurogastroenterology.
His particular interests are the management of chronic abdominal symptoms including pain and discomfort. He is keen to take a whole person approach to those with complex symptoms. His case loads includes reflux symptoms, changes in bowel habit, debilitating gut symptoms and concerns regarding intestinal health.
He has particular expertise in therapeutic endoscopy including ERCP with Spyglass and Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction, gastrointestinal malignant disease, functional bowel disease and pancreaticobiliary medicine.
