Dr Michael Coupe

Dr Coupe is a Consultant Anaesthetist with advanced training in pain management and intensive care medicine. Since 2005, he has been practising at the Royal United Hospital, Bath.

As a member of the Bath Pain Management Unit, Dr Coupe and his colleagues provide a comprehensive range of interventional and non-interventional pain services at CircleBath. He has a special interest in the use of regional anaesthesia and has wide experience in the provision of anaesthesia services across all clinical specialities.

Dr Coupe has also written extensively on the use of opioids in chronic non-cancer pain and currently acts as honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Bristol.
