Dr Jon Sussman

Jon Sussman graduated from the University Hospital of Wales after the completion of his medical studies as well as internal medicine. He continued at the University Hospital of Wales where he first worked in neurology and made it his career.

He started his neurology training in the regional unit in Sheffield, followed by a PhD that involved research in repair mechanisms in the adult brain at the Brain Repair Centre in Cambridge University. He then became a University Lecturer in Neurology and undertook his neurology training.

He took his position in Greater Manchester was when all neurology services were amalgamated at the Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre based at Salford Royal Hospital. Dr Sussman is a general neurologist with a special interest in immune disorders.
