Dr John Thorpe

My undergraduate training was at New College, Oxford and clinical training at University College and the Middlesex Hospitals, London. I had jobs in London and Ipswich, where I was a medical registrar, before completing three years of research (in MRI, especially focussing on Multiple Sclerosis) at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London. I was a registrar in Neurology and Medical Ophthalmology at St Thomas' Hospital and then a Neurology registrar at the National Hospital, Queen Square and the Royal Free Hospitals, London. I was a locum consultant neurologist in London (at the Royal Free and Barnet Hospitals) before taking up my current substantive post.
