Dr John McAuley

Dr McAuley practices in the NHS as a Consultant Neurologist at King George
Hospital, Ilford, and Queens Hospital, Romford, and is an Honorary Senior Lecturer
at Queen Mary University of London. He has private practices at Spire London East, Wanstead and The Holly Private Hospital, Buckhurst Hill.

He has a research interest in motor control and in movement disorders and has published research papers that have received well over 1000 citations.

He has a keen interest in therapuetics in general and is Chair of his NHS Trust's Therapeutics Committee overseeing all medicines management at the Trust. He is also Deputy Chair of the Subregional Immunoglobulin Panel.

Dr McAuley sees patients with all neurological
conditions and has specialist interests in i) Parkinson's disease, tremor and
other movement disorders, ii) vertigo, iii) headache, iv) stroke and v)
neurostimulation for movement disorders, chronic pain and epilepsy. He has an
electrophysiological research laboratory where he investigates motor control
and the pathophysiology of movement disorders.
