Dr Hema Ananth

Dr Hema Ananth is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist, dual qualified in both General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry. Based in London and Hertfordshire, she sees patients at The Priory and Harley Street, as well as offering home visits and virtual consultations.

She specialises in memory problems and dementia, and also treats a wide range of psychiatric conditions in both younger and older adults, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Dr Ananth also provides routine and complex medicolegal assessments.

Elected a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2012, she is actively involved in teaching and examination, serving as Secretary of the Psychiatry Section at the Royal Society of Medicine and sitting on the Examination Panel at the Royal College. She recently completed a Master’s in Health Education and regularly trains medical students from Cambridge.

Dr Ananth works collaboratively with experienced therapists to offer tailored treatment plans that combine medication and psychological support.
