I have been a consultant Gastroenterologist in Cambridge since 2007 with a practice based around general Gastroenterology, Endoscopy including Bowel cancer screening and removal of complex colorectal polyps as well as the treatment of patients with late gastrointestinal effects of cancer treatments such as radiotherapy.

I have expertise in the full range of general Gastroenterology including indigestion, abdominal pain, change in bowel habit and inflammatory bowel disease.

I was appointed clinical lead for the Cambridge Bowel Cancer Screening Centre from inception in 2007 until appointment as Divisional director for Medicine in 2013. I have been Director of Improvement and Transformation at Addenbrooke's Hospital since 2018.
