Dr Darren Klass

Dr Darren Klass is an interventional radiologist at Vancouver General and UBC Hospitals in Vancouver, Canada. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Pretoria in South Africa before completing registrar training at the Norwich Radiology Academy and a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of British Columbia.

Dr Klass leads complex thoracic aortic stent implant procedures, heads MRI services for Vancouver Acute, and has developed vascular MRI imaging protocols. He works to optimise both angiography and venography across different settings. His focus lies specifically in studying and treating aortic disease using dynamic magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) to map flows pre- and post-intervention and guide therapy accordingly.
