Dr Billy White

Dr Billy White is a Consultant in Adolescent Diabetes at UCLH, working among the UK's top child and adolescent diabetes team.

After graduating from Bristol University Medical School, Dr White undertook specialist training in London. He gained his PhD from UCL which investigated the outcomes of treatments available from doctors that control weight.

In addition to specialising in adolescent diabetes, Dr White is also a general adolescent physician providing a comprehensive service for common health issues.

At UCLH, Dr White leads the Diabetes Transition Programme which aims to help prepare teenagers for successful independent adults and encouraging them not to let diabetes interfere with working life. He is an honorary senior lecturer at UCL.
