Dr Andrew Baranowski

Dr Andrew Baranowski is a Consultant in Highly Specialised Pain Medicine and Neuromodulation who works at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London. He is the President of The British Pain Society.

Dr Baranowski graduated from Guy's Hospital, London with a BSc(Hons) and MBBS. He later achieved a Doctorate (MD) in pain research and higher qualifications in Pain Medicine (FFPMRCA).

He has a special interest in complex highly specialised pain management. He has research interests in urogenital/visceral pain, neuropathic

pain and complex spinal pain, and he has over 100 publications, posters and

research papers.

He established the one of the largest and most comprehensive NHS centres for pain management in the UK, supported by multidisciplinary teams, with the model being reproduced in the private sector.
