I am also grateful that I could ask ‘what if’ type questions to Dr Gera and get a proper response (the let’s cross that bridge when we come to it approach doesn’t work well for me as I prefer to be armed with the detail, and Dr Gera has always answered all my questions).

Dr Gera was warm from start to finish during my appointments with him. He explained symptoms and treatments confidently and clearly, without being pushy: always invitational. It was clear Dr Gera had a depth of experience with patients similar to me, which helped in understanding my own symptoms and identifying a solution. Because of Dr Gera's efficiency, I had completed blood and stool tests within 24 hours of my first appointment, and I understood the results and a plan to manage my symptoms by the end of my second appointment.
