Dr Deborah Kinsey

Dr Deborah Kinsey is a dedicated Counselling Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who works with adults, adolescents, children, and their families. She provides comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each individual's unique needs. Dr Kinsey offers a supportive and reassuring clinical environment, delivering therapy both face-to-face and online to help patients navigate a wide range of emotional, behavioural, and psychological challenges.

Dr Kinsey specialises in helping patients manage low mood, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and interpersonal difficulties, alongside anxiety conditions such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and phobias. She also possesses extensive expertise in neurodevelopmental conditions, including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, she conducts structured autism assessments using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS-2).

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and holistic, combining core Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) protocols with third-wave approaches such as Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practice.
