Dr Das has expertise in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. He consults in all areas of adult cardiology, with a special interest in coronary artery disease, heart failire and cardiovascular prevention.
Patients with symptoms of chest pain (angina), shortness of breath, ankle swelling, palpitation, dizzy spells or fainting are evaluated, and investigations are promptly organised to allow accurate diagnosis and treatment.
Individuals without symptoms who are risk of developing heart problems in the future (e.g. those with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, close relatives with heart disease) are assessed and provided with a personalised management plan to reduce risk and improve long term health.

Dr Das Consultant Cardiologist based at St Bartholomew's Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital.
He studied Chemistry & medicine at University College London and the University of Leicester respectively. He went on to do his higher research degree (MD Res) at the University College London.
He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. He is a member of the British & European Cardiac Societies. He has a close interes in preventative medicine and Digital Health. He is a member of the East London Prevention (ELoPE) group focused on cardiovascular prevention strategies. He frequently works in collabration with NHSx and Digital Health London

Dr Debashish Das represents everything I hope to find in a doctor. He combines expert specialist knowledge with a calm and caring manner plus clear explanations of the situation and what needs to be done. I could not have asked for more.

Calm and collected. Ensured he listened and triaged without rushing to conclusions. Explained the need for tests for accurate diagnoses. Post reports was very kind to call and give assurances before my long haul holiday as he knew i was anxious. That definitely made me relax. Post returning i had a full followup, short and to the point with what was seen, what was required and next steps and then closure. His secretary needs mentioning as she was amazing managing crazy busy diaries of the doctor and me and fitting me in.

Dr Das, has a wonderful bedside manner, listened to my concerns and ordered tests straight away, Dr Das is very caring and has given me back my life, I definitely recommend.

A professional, polite, doctor who explains everything clearly. He is also very quick to upload letters and test results to the app so I was aware of every step of the process.

Dr Das was very friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr DAs really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor's demeanour has really put me at ease so I highly recommend this Dr. Absolutely brilliant.
