Dr David Wilkinson

Dr David Wilkinson is an experienced Consultant Oncologist who provides compassionate and comprehensive care to patients navigating a cancer diagnosis. Known for his reassuring manner and patient-centred approach, Dr Wilkinson works closely with multidisciplinary teams to design individualised treatment strategies tailored to each patient's specific health needs. He remains committed to delivering modern, evidence-based oncological care while prioritising patient comfort, open communication, and high clinical standards across all aspects of treatment.

Dr Wilkinson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of York in 1997, followed by his Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery degrees from Nottingham University between 2000 and 2002. He achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2008 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2014. Demonstrating a broad dedication to patient care and decision-making, he also completed a Master of Arts in Philosophy at the Open University in 2019.

Within his clinical practice, Dr Wilkinson sub-specialises in a range of solid tumours and haematological malignancies. His areas of expertise encompass the management of thyroid cancer, skin cancer, lymphoma, myeloma, and cancer of unknown primary. He is highly skilled in administering systemic anti-cancer therapies, targeted medical treatments, and radiotherapy, alongside maintaining a professional focus on medical ethics to ensure holistic support for patients and their families.
