About

Dr Martin Hogg is a consultant clinical oncologist based at The Beardwood Hospital. His clinical interests are in breast cancer and gynaecological cancer and he aims to provide his patients with high-quality, personalised care.

He gained his medical degree (MB BS) in 1993 from the University of London and spent time as a specialist registrar in oncology at the Christie Hospital, where he gained expertise in the treatment of tumours using radiotherapy and chemotherapy. During this time, he also undertook research into a new chemotherapy treatment for colorectal cancer and has had his work presented at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

In 2003, he became a consultant at the Rosemere Cancer Centre at Royal Preston Hospital. He is currently the lead clinician for breast cancer at the Rosemere Cancer Centre and will soon be taking over the clinical directorship there. Additionally, he has been the chair of the Breast Cancer Network Site Specific Group for the past 4 years.

He also runs a conference for breast care nurses in the North of England, providing updates, training, and work.
