Dr Mohammed AlHilali

Dr Mohammed AlHilali is a highly dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the management and treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) malignancies, neuroendocrine tumours (NETs), and rare tumours. With a patient-centred approach, he is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr AlHilali works closely within multidisciplinary teams to design comprehensive treatment pathways, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care throughout their therapeutic journey.

In his clinical practice, Dr AlHilali utilises a wide range of advanced oncological treatments to target complex cancers. His expertise spans the delivery of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and combined chemoradiotherapy, with a particular focus on cutting-edge techniques such as Stereotactic Ablative Radiotherapy (SABR) and ultra-high dose radiotherapy. He is also highly experienced in administering innovative systemic therapies, including immunotherapy options like pembrolizumab for head and neck cancers, and peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) using lutetium-177 dotatate for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumours. Whether the treatment intent is neoadjuvant, adjuvant, radical, or palliative, he focuses on optimising clinical outcomes while maintaining his patients' quality of life.

Dr AlHilali obtained his Bachelor of Medicine degree and subsequently completed rigorous postgraduate training to qualify as a specialist in clinical oncology. He serves as a Specialist Topics Lead and SSC Lead at a leading university, where he helps shape the oncology curriculum for the next generation of medical professionals.
