About Mr Daniel Williams
Mr Daniel Williams is a trauma and orthopaedic surgeon specialising in Hand and Upper Limb surgery. His NHS practice is Barts Health NHS Trust and he provides elective and trauma care at London's busiest major trauma centre, The Royal London Hospital, and at Whipps Cross Hospital. Mr Williams qualified in medicine at the University of Bristol Medical School and completed his Orthopaedic specialty training in London on the renowned Percivall Pott Rotation. After receiving his Fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons in 2017, he undertook a two-year fellowship at the Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Unit in Australia. He is highly trained and proficient in all areas of upper limb surgery including trauma, arthroscopic wrist and shoulder procedures, microsurgery, and joint replacements (shoulder and hand). He specialises in complex trauma, minimally invasive wrist surgery, and small joint arthroplasty.

Mr Williams’s back up staff were highly efficient in organising my visit at times that suited my busy schedule. The pre and post op care by Mr Williams with both caring and highly professional. The hospital staff were smart, efficient and interested.

Dr Dan Williams was highly professional and an excellent consultant. I initially saw him for a broken wrist, and he carefully walked me through all the available treatment options. We ended up deciding surgery was the best route, and he managed to fit me in for an operation at last minute on his weekend. The surgery went very well and I am very happy with the result. I would highly recommend Dan to anyone.

Very good - clear explanations about the injury, operation and next steps
I was referred to Daniel with a broken scaphoid that had been treated negligently by the NHS and was on pretty bad shape. From the first moment he reassured me that he could get a best possible case outcome, and detailed exactly what was needed both in terms of treatment and from myself to ensure proper healing. The treatment it's self went well, I felt in the loop at all times and I am incredibly pleased with my recovery. Daniel is a master of his craft.
