Dr Corinne Brooks

Dr Corinne Brooks is a highly regarded Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing digestive and liver disorders. With a clinical focus that spans both Gastroenterology and Hepatology, she specialises in the management of complex liver diseases, including viral and autoimmune hepatitis, as well as chronic liver disease. Dr Brooks is also deeply committed to bowel cancer screening and the diagnosis and treatment of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), ensuring that each patient receives an individualised and reassuring pathway to recovery.

In addition to her work in Hepatology, Dr Brooks is an accomplished Consultant Endoscopist. She has extensive expertise in performing advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopies, colonoscopies, and flexible sigmoidoscopies. Throughout her distinguished career, she has held key leadership roles in upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancer services, Gastroenterology, and endoscopy departments. Her focus remains on delivering high-quality clinical care, optimising medical resources, and mentoring her colleagues.

Dr Brooks completed her medical degree (BM) at the University of Southampton in 1991, where she later earned her PhD in 2002. Her comprehensive clinical training was undertaken across the Wessex region, gaining valuable experience in Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Poole, and Winchester. Demonstrating her commitment to clinical excellence, she is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. Dr Brooks is also an active member of several prestigious professional bodies, including the British Society of Gastroenterology and the British Association for the Study of the Liver.
