Dr Colin Wilson is a Consultant General Surgeon specialising in hepatobiliary (HPB) and abdominal organ transplant surgery. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centred care for individuals facing complex surgical conditions affecting the liver, bile ducts, pancreas, and kidneys. Dr Wilson focuses on achieving optimal outcomes for his patients through meticulous surgical techniques and comprehensive multi-disciplinary management.

Dr Wilson earned his medical degree (MBBS) before completing extensive higher surgical training across the North East of England, Cambridge, and Oxford. He successfully obtained his Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD), focusing his research on transplant surgery and organ preservation techniques. He holds the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) and maintains active involvement with leading professional surgical bodies dedicated to advancing hepatobiliary and transplantation medicine.
