Dr Colin Watts is a distinguished Consultant Neurosurgeon who specialises in neurosurgical oncology and the surgical management of complex brain tumours. Dr Watts completed his undergraduate medical education at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, qualifying as a doctor before undertaking specialist training in Neurosurgery across Cambridge and London. Demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and clinical research, he earned his doctorate from the University of Cambridge in 1999 and completed his specialist neurosurgical training in 2004. Throughout his career, Dr Watts has held prominent leadership positions within national and international professional bodies, including serving as Chair of the Section of Neuro-Oncology for the Society of British Neurological Surgeons, President of the British Neuro-Oncology Society, and an active member of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies.
