Mr Colin Jones

Mr. Colin Jones is an experienced Addiction Therapist Practitioner with over 30 years in the field of addiction and recovery. His extensive background encompasses a deep understanding of both the complexities of addiction and the pathways to recovery. Colin trained at esteemed institutions, including King's College London and the Maudsley Hospital, where he specialised in guiding individuals towards connection, hope, meaning, and identity in their journey to live free from active addiction.

Colin joined Priory as an Addiction Therapist Practitioner in October 2023. He is currently in the process of securing membership with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

His qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Addiction Counselling from Kings College, London University, and a Certificated Diploma in Counselling and Therapy Skills and Theory from the Central School of Counselling & Therapy. Additionally, he has completed residential training in Family Programmes with Action on Addiction at Clouds House in Wiltshire. Colin also holds a Clinical Diploma in Cognitive Therapy from BPS-recognised training at UK College London and a Stress Management Resilience Building Diploma from SMRA-recognised training at UK College London.
