Dr Christopher Douglass

Dr Christopher Douglass is an experienced Consultant Neurologist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing complex neurological conditions. He specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of disorders affecting the brain and nervous system, maintaining a focus on delivering evidence-based care alongside reassuring patient support.

Dr Douglass possesses significant expertise in stroke medicine and cerebrovascular conditions, including the emergency management of acute ischaemic stroke and stroke thrombolysis. His clinical interests also encompass neurodegenerative disorders, particularly motor neurone disease, as well as general neurological assessments. Alongside his clinical duties, Dr Douglass actively contributes to clinical trials and medical research focused on advancing acute treatments and improving outcomes for patients with stroke and neuromuscular conditions.

Dr Douglass completed his medical degree at the University of Oxford, receiving a Bachelor of Arts with Honours and his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BM BCh). He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and holds certification as a Medical Examiner with the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPathME).
