Mr Chrisjan Dees

Mr Christjan Dees is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Middlesbrough, where he has been in post since August 2003. He has over two decades of consultant-level experience within the NHS and is listed on the GMC Specialist Register for Ophthalmology, having been included since January 1999.

In addition to his substantive consultant role, Mr Dees works as a Locum Consultant Ophthalmologist in Vitreoretinal Surgery at South Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust. His clinical expertise includes vitreoretinal surgery, cataract surgery and medical retina, and he is experienced in managing a wide range of complex retinal and anterior segment conditions.

Mr Dees completed his medical degree in 1987 at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
