Dr Charlotte Chant

Dr Charlotte Chant is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a specialist focus on urogynaecology and intrapartum care. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for women experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, bladder health concerns, and obstetric requirements. Known for her empathetic and patient-centred approach, Dr Chant works collaboratively with patients to formulate clear, individualised treatment plans that prioritise comfort and quality of life.

Dr Chant earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) degree from the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry in 2013. She went on to complete her postgraduate specialty training in the East of England, undertaking advanced training modules in urogynaecology and advanced labour ward practice. To further refine her expertise, she completed a dedicated post-CCT fellowship focused on urogynaecology. She holds professional accreditation as a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

In clinical practice, Dr Chant manages a broad spectrum of obstetric and gynaecological conditions, with particular expertise in female pelvic floor disorders. Her clinical interests include the management of pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. She offers both conservative and surgical therapeutic options, including complex vaginal pessary management and urethral bulking agent procedures such as polyacrylamide hydrogel. Dr Chant remains committed to supporting women through every stage of care, providing reassuring guidance and evidence-based treatment.
