Dr Catia Acosta is a highly qualified Psychiatrist.

Dr Acosta is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and education. They are actively involved in teaching and training sessions for medical students, doctors, and other healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and psychologists. Their teaching also extends to those in the volunteer sector. Dr Acosta delivers sessions on various psychiatric themes, with a particular focus on the Mental Health and Mental Capacity Acts, Perinatal Psychiatric problems, and Eating Disorders.

Dr Acosta's training has taken place at prestigious institutions. They have trained and worked at the Eating Disorder Service at the Maudsley Hospital, as well as the Liaison services based at Guy's and St. Thomas hospitals.
