About Dr Beth Wright

Dr Beth Wright offers private dermatology clinics in Bath. She provides specialist consultations and treatments for medical, surgical and some cosmetic dermatological concerns affecting adults.

She specialises in the assessment of skin cancer, pre-cancer and sun damage, removal and treatments of cancerous and non-cancerous unwanted skin lesions, marks, lumps and bumps using skin surgery and laser.

Her scope of practise also encompasses all aspects of general dermatology (including but not limited to acne, acne scarring eczema, psoriasis, and skin rashes).

As a substantive NHS Consultant at the Royal United Hospital, Bath, Dr Wright is a core member of the skin cancer multidisciplinary (MDT) team and attends weekly cancer meetings. This allows her to follow best practice and up-to-date treatments for her patients with complex or high-risk skin cancers amongst specialist colleagues. She also runs specialist clinics in vulval dermatology and immunocompromised adults at greater risk of scan cancer in her NHS role.

Dr Wright’s experience allows her to combine medical and procedural dermatology to ensure patients are offered a breadth of appropriate and optimal treatment options due to her background and training in skin surgery, laser and energy-based devices. In addition, she is able to perform platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy, photodynamic therapy, cryotherapy, and other dermatological procedures where indicated (usually requiring prior consultation).

Dr Wright is committed to providing patient centred, high quality and evidenced based care for patients.
