Dr Benjamin Mullish

Dr Benjamin Mullish is an accomplished Consultant Gastroenterologist and Consultant Hepatologist with expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide range of complex digestive and liver conditions. He maintains a comprehensive clinical practice focusing on gastrointestinal disorders, metabolic liver dysfunction, and gut health. Dr Mullish is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care, ensuring each patient receives personalised treatment tailored to their health needs.

Specialising in both general and specialist gastroenterology, Dr Mullish has a particular clinical interest in metabolic dysfunction-related steatotic liver disease, chronic liver disease, and gut microbiome manipulation. He is widely recognised for his expertise in advanced microbial therapies, including faecal microbiota transplantation for recurrent bacterial infections and complex gastrointestinal disorders. In addition, he routinely performs diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures to evaluate and treat diverse conditions of the digestive tract.

Dr Mullish graduated with Double First Class Honours in Medicine from the University of Cambridge, where he was awarded a Foundation Scholarship. He subsequently completed combined clinical and academic training in gastroenterology, hepatology, and general internal medicine, obtaining a PhD from Imperial College London for research into gut microbiome therapies. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) and is an Associate Fellow of Advance HE (AFHEA). Dr Mullish maintains active memberships with prestigious bodies, including the British Society of Gastroenterology, United European Gastroenterology, and the European Association for the Study of the Liver.
