Dr Belinda Crowe

Dr Belinda Crowe is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician specialising in paediatric neurodisability. She delivers compassionate, child-centred care for infants, children, and young people presenting with complex neurodevelopmental, locomotor, and neurological conditions. Working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families, Dr Crowe focuses on holistic clinical assessments and personalised treatment plans designed to optimise functional potential and enhance the quality of life for her young patients.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of neurodevelopmental and motor disorders, with particular expertise in cerebral palsy, dystonia, spasticity, and movement disorders. Dr Crowe has specialist clinical interest in the assessment and management of dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), sialorrhoea (saliva control management), and rare bone conditions such as osteogenesis imperfecta. Her therapeutic approaches include targeted botulinum toxin injection therapy for movement and tone management, along with comprehensive non-surgical strategies tailored to each child's individual needs.

Dr Crowe qualified with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and holds membership with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She maintains active involvement in medical education, clinical audit, and professional development within child healthcare. Dr Crowe is a member of the British Academy of Childhood Disability (BACD) and serves in leadership and advisory roles on national paediatric specialty committees, helping to guide training standards and clinical excellence in paediatric neurodisability.
