Dr Bee Tan

Dr Bee Tan is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and General Physician who provides high-quality care for a broad range of digestive health conditions. With extensive background in upper gastrointestinal physiology, functional gut disorders, and advanced diagnostic endoscopy, Dr Tan focuses on delivering clear diagnostic clarity and evidence-based treatment plans. Her patient-centred approach ensures that individuals feel heard, supported, and reassured throughout every stage of their assessment and care.

Dr Tan specialises in diagnosing and managing complex functional gastrointestinal disorders, including irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, bloating, dyspepsia, and swallowing difficulties. She possesses specialised expertise in upper gastrointestinal motility and advanced physiological investigations, such as high-resolution manometry and pH impedance monitoring. Dr Tan also maintains sub-specialty clinical interests in inflammatory bowel disease and Barrett's oesophagus, performing meticulous surveillance endoscopy to enable early detection and preventative care. Her procedure portfolio includes diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy, colonoscopy, capsule endoscopy of the small and large bowel, and complex polypectomy using endoscopic mucosal resection.

Dr Tan completed her undergraduate medical degree (MBChB) before undertaking postgraduate specialist training in Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine across premier UK teaching centres. She was awarded a Master of Science in Gastroenterology with Merit from Queen Mary University of London, alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education. Having achieved her Certificate of Completion of Training in 2025, Dr Tan is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom and holds full Joint Advisory Group certification for endoscopic procedures.
