Dr Babu Nayar

Dr Babu Nayar is a highly accomplished Senior Consultant Psychiatrist currently based at the Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust and a Director at Tranquil TMS in Cheadle. With an impressive 20 years of experience in the field of mental health, Dr Nayar specialises in General Adult Psychiatry, Old Age Psychiatry and Rehabilitation Psychiatry. He completed his medical degree at the University of Kerala in 1996 before moving to the UK. Dr Nayar became a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2002 and holds a Diploma in Psychological Medicine recognised by the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland. He also serves as an Examiner for the MRCPsych Examinations and is an Associate of the General Medical Council. He contributes his expertise as an Examiner for the Professional and Linguistics Board (PLAB) Examinations.
