Dr Ayaz Vantra

Dr Ayaz Vantra is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician specialising in Community Paediatrics. He provides compassionate, family-focused care to infants, children, and young people, supporting their growth, health, and complex developmental needs. Dr Vantra takes a holistic and reassuring approach to paediatric healthcare, ensuring that young patients and their families feel heard, respected, and thoroughly supported throughout their care journey.

Dr Vantra completed his postgraduate paediatric training within the West Midlands region, developing extensive expertise in general and community child health. He holds Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and maintains full registration with the General Medical Council. Passionate about medical education and professional development, he actively contributes to teaching undergraduate medical students and training junior doctors in paediatric care and safeguarding practices.

With a strong focus on child welfare and health advocacy, Dr Vantra serves as a lead doctor for child protection and safeguarding. His clinical interests encompass the assessment and management of neurodevelopmental disorders, complex physical and learning disabilities, and initial health evaluations for looked-after children.
