Dr Avinash Pilar

Dr Avinash Pilar is a dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in advanced radiotherapy techniques for complex oncological conditions. He focuses predominantly on the management and treatment of bone and soft tissue sarcomas, including head and neck sarcomas. Known for his reassuring and compassionate approach, Dr Pilar works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver precise, evidence-based care tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

Dr Pilar earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and Master of Medicine (MD) degrees before completing his specialist oncology training in 2018. He subsequently undertook prestigious international fellowship programmes in clinical oncology across leading cancer centres in Canada and the United Kingdom, gaining extensive expertise in advanced radiation techniques. He holds a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), reflecting his adherence to the highest standards of clinical excellence.

In his clinical practice, Dr Pilar utilises modern precision radiation modalities to effectively target tumours while minimising impact on surrounding healthy tissues.
