Dr Crispin Thomas Hiley is caring and provides clear, detailed explanations. Patients commend his knowledge regarding complex conditions like lung cancer and EGFR mutations, feeling supported and reassured. He offers thorough consultations, whether in person or by phone, arranging prompt treatment for conditions requiring radiotherapy. Patients value his comprehensive approach to cancer care.
It would be useful if questions that are often asked by patients are put together in an information booklet. As an example, while I was receiving treatment for a thymus squamous cell carcinoma I also needed treatment for prostate cancer. I did not get feedback during radio therapy as to when it would be safe to receive treatment for the prostate. This was because it was the radiographers who saw me daily and they could not answer several questions.
Seen in hospital twice and since discharge I have had two phone consultations. These have all been very thorough and Dr Hiley oils easy to talk to and has a very friendly manner
I didn’t actually have a Consultation face to face. It was dealt with as a phone consultation. That was fine cos we’d gone through stereotactic radiotherapy only two years previously. so I was well aware of the procedure.
Dr Crispin Hiley is kind, caring and very patient! He gives explanations that are easy to understand and is very willing to answer any questions. He always listens to my concerns and worries. He is really up on all the new cancer treatments – thankfully! I have had 9 cancers so have been with Crispin for a few years now and I am so pleased that I was referred to him, as I could not ask for a better doctor. I would like to mention Dr Hiley’s secretary – Shamin – she really is the best! Kind, caring, unflappable and goes out of her way to help. She always will get the best appointment time that suits me! Crispin is lucky to have her that is for sure.
Outstanding. Thank you Dr Crispin for your expert knowledge on EGFR mutations and my particular lung cancer. Thank you for helping me. Your compassion as well as expertise combined helped me so much as well as your frankness. Much gratitude
I feel so fortunate to have Dr Hiley as my oncologist. He has been very supportive and understanding. He Answers all My questions with explanations in layman’s terms which is very helpful. He has been positive and very encouraging throughout the process which has been very traumatic and scary for me and my daughter . I can’t thank him enough for everything he has done for me. Thank you so much.
Dr.Hiley explained in detail about the treatment I would receive and took time to address all my concerns. He was professional, had a relaxed manner but was not condescending and I felt very reassured that this was the right treatment for me by the time I left.
Dr Hiley was very knowledgeable and understanding of my condition and sympathetic of the pain I was experiencing, so arranged treatment promptly.I benefitted very much from the treatment and feel I’ve been looked after very well.
